GENERAL

California Scholarship Federation (CSF) Apply now!  CSF application pick-up and turn-in times are LUNCH and AFTER SCHOOL, in Ms. Lederach’s Room, P-10. Applications are due by Friday, September 17.  Bring in a completed application, a copy of your report card from LAST semester, and DUES—a ten dollar bill or a check for ten dollars made out to Clovis High.

In recognition of academic achievement, Clovis High School awards a Block “C” Letter for the first semester of achievement with an accompanying “Lamp of Knowledge” emblem to eligible students each semester. 

To qualify for this honor, a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior must have obtained the following last semester, Spring 2010: (1) a minimum weighted G.P.A of 3.75, (2) be involved in a co-curricular activity at Clovis High School, and (3) exhibit appropriate citizenship. 

If you would like to apply for Academic Block “C” for the Spring 2010 semester, please pick up an application in the Stanford office.  If you receive Academic Block “C” you will also be honored at the Academic Awards Ceremony in March 2011.

ATHLETICS

Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this year. There will be mandatory meeting at the beginning of lunch TODAY in the Library Annex to hand out information concerning upcoming fall workouts. Girls that played last year or are new this year to Clovis High and wishing to play are welcome to attend. See you there!!
