The California Department of Public Health announced a change in the health and safety guidelines for schools. The new recommendation includes three-feet physical distancing between students in school classrooms, instead of the previous six-feet. With this change, this allows Clovis High school to look at increasing seat time for our now in-person students and eliminate asynchronous learning for our Track A and B students. Clovis High and Clark Intermediate will work together to maintain the same schedules for our families. The following information will remain the same as we work out the details of this increased seat time for our current hybrid student population:
What would remain the same at Clovis High:
- The current bell schedule
- All Zoom Monday
- Student schedules
- Grab and Go Lunch
What would change at Clovis High:
- All hybrid students will come to campus Tuesday-Friday
- Track A and B students increase in-person learning to 4 days per week
For your planning purposes, the date for all hybrid students to return to campus 4 days per week is April 19, 2021.
No changes will happen for CUSD connect or Edgenuity students.
Thank you all for continuing to remain engaged in the learning during our second semester and for continuing to reflect the positivity, support for one another, and quality character of Cougar Country!
