Clovis High School is proud to present the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024 on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 7:30 in the evening at Lamonica Stadium on the Clovis High School campus. If you cannot join us at the stadium, please enjoy the live stream on this page the evening of the event.




Clovis High School – Class of 2024– Graduation Reminders
Wednesday, May 29th, 2024
Gates open at 6 pm
Students Report to the “C” Building at 6 pm sharp
Processional will begin at 7:30 pm sharp 
Attire:
  1. The graduation exercises represent the graduation of the Class of 2024 to the parents, faculty, invited guests, and the Clovis community. The caps and gowns symbolize the unity of the class. The only permissible additions to the caps and gowns are the CSF Gold Cord, CSF Life Pin, Top 20 Medallion, the National Honor Society Sash, and AVID sash. Please contact Mr. Gill with any questions. 
  2. Students wearing a dress shirt must wear a tie, nice shoes, and nice socks (no white socks):  NO JEANS/DENIM. 
  3. NO ATHLETIC SHOES/TENNIS SHOES. 
  4. Dresses or skirts must be within the dress code. Long dresses or skirts must be pinned up so that they do not fall below the hemline of the graduation gown. No spaghetti straps, strapless, off-the-shoulder, halter, or backless dresses. 
  5. Caps will be worn flat on the head with one point aimed straight ahead. 
  6. Tassels will be worn on the RIGHT side of the cap. 
  7. Clovis Unified School District dress code and behavior policies will be enforced at all times
Evening of:
  1. The gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for parents and guests of graduates to enter. Remind your parents which side you will be sitting on in the stands: East or West. 
  2. Handicapped parking is available. A pass may be picked up from in the Deputy Principal’s office. 
  3. ALL SENIORS MUST REPORT TO THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE “C” BUILDING AT 6:00 pm SHARP! 
  4. Bring your caps and IRONED gowns without a hanger. 
  5. CARRY – DO NOT WEAR GOWNS INTO THE “C” BUILDING. 
  6. The faculty member for your assigned row will give you your name card that will be read during the ceremony. 
  7. You will be directed to line up at 6:55 p.m. 
  8. The class will walk from the staging areas to Lamonica Stadium at 7:05 p.m. 
  9. The processional will begin at 7:30 pm sharp. 
  10. IMPORTANT: NO cell phones, cameras, suit coats, sports coats, purses, handbags, makeup, drinks, or food… none of these items will be allowed in the buildings The only item you may bring is your single car key with no key ring attached, it is best to be dropped off at the C-Building. 
Reminders to Family and Friends:
  1. Balloons, signs, and noisemakers will not be allowed in Lamonica Stadium. 
  2. Tickets are not required for attending the graduation ceremony. Reserved seating for families of students who have earned special honors. All other seating is first come first served. 
  3. The Commencement Group will be selling flowers, leis, and graduation gifts outside of the stadium. These items can only be given to your graduate after the ceremony. Graduates are not allowed to wear leis or carry any items during the ceremony. 
  4. After the ceremony, family and friends may meet you in Merriman Field and enter through the left field or center field fence. 
  5. Don’t forget to pre-arrange a meeting place in Merriman Field so you and your family can find one another. 
  6. BE SURE TO TELL YOUR PARENTS/FAMILIES WHERE YOU ARE SITTING (EAST SIDE OR WEST SIDE) 
After the Graduation Ceremony:
  1. DO NOT BREAK YOUR RECESSIONAL LINE UNTIL YOU ARE COMPLETELY INSIDE MERRIMAN FIELD. 
  2. Report directly to your individual row table along the 1st baseline of Merriman Field. 
  3. Your room monitors will give you your actual diploma and will return your car key to you.
