Work Permits: A student must be in good standing to obtain a work permit. Eligibility is based on attendance, grades, credits (must be on track to graduate), and behavior.

Work permit Application: Intent to Hire Application

Complete the Intent to Hire Application (must be signed by a parent/guardian and employer)
Bring completed application to Mrs. Thornton in the Counseling Center or scan using iPhone Notes app, or a similar app, and email to julithornton@cusd.com.
Your Permit to Employ certificate will be processed within 2 school days of the Intent to Hire Application being received. Please come to the Counseling Center to sign and receive your completed certificate.
Take the printed copy of the Permit to Employ certificate to your employer for their records.
