NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a national organization established to recognize students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Established in 1921, this organization maintains a long history of awardees who have exceled and are admired for their accomplishments.
We encourage all students interested in applying for NHS to join our Google Classroom! This is where we will post important information as is pertains to the application process and volunteer opportunities. The Google Classroom code is: jfoexqo. For more information about NHS you can visit the

Applications for CHS NHS are available now! Applications are being accepted from January 7th through February 21st at 4pm. All applications are due to Ms. Giles in the Yale office no later than 4:00pm. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Cantu (P-09) or Ms. Swain (P-11).
In addition to the application, students will need to submit three Character Evaluation Forms to be submitted by staff/ faculty. Applications are evaluated first by the chapter advisors, and then again by a selection committee that consists of faculty and administrators.
